Call Schedule Additional Information:

Geriatric Medicine call for 3 program-affiliated longterm care facilities and Geriatric Hospital Consultation Service Call at Broward Health Medical Center. Call coverage begins after completion of ambulatory Geriatrics rotations - exact date subject to change. Call for 6 days at a time, once every 3 weeks.

 
General Program Comments
The Geriatric Medicine Fellowship is affiliated with the nationally funded Geriatrics Education center (GREAT GEC) at NSU COM, thus providing the benefit of an intensive interpfrofessional educational experience in a variety of care sites. Fellows will have the opportunity to learn about Medical Direction in LTC facilities and participate in research programs, as well as attend a national Geriatrics conference.
