We have no rotary nights (q4, etc.). All calls, ICU rotations, and other requirements are done in shifts.

 
General Program Comments
Palmetto has been selected as one of the top 100 hospitals in the country in the category of small teaching hospitals for more than seven years. We offer a broad clinical experience, emphasizing family practice and Internal Medicine. We have supervised clinical rotations in various disciplines that incorporate inpatient and outpatient mix and also maximized exposure to a wide variety of ethnicity and pathological condititions. Our program allows for two (2) months of outside rotations and utilizes block night scheduling. Academic lecture conferences are held on a daily basis. Palmetto General Hospital has a competent and skilled medical staff who are enthusiastic about teaching.
