General Program Comments

The residency program in dermatology will encompass of three years. It will consist of a total of six residents, two in the first year, two in the second year and two in the third year. Besides direct patient care, there will be daily- directed sessions, as well as reviews of histories, physical examination and surgical techniques employed by the residents. The residents will be exposed on a regular basis to gross and histodermatopathology, as well as medical mycology, phototherapy, dermatologic surgery, cutaneous oncology and cosmetic dermatology. The program will emphasize supervised directed patient care and progressive experience, utilizing various surgical and physical modalities that the residents will learn during the three years of the residency-training program.
